Date: Thursday, December 15, 2022 Time: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
K-REACH first came into force in 2015 and went through a significant amendment in 2019.
Although it contains all the key elements of “REACH”, including Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of chemicals, there are important differences, such as the registration of polymers, requirement to obtain approval for certain exemptions, and the requirement to register/notify of “new” substances below 1 tonne/year.
This webinar will provide guidance on how to check your obligations and how to create a roadmap for compliance.
The session will cover:
- · Introduction to K-REACH
- · Background and key milestones
- · Using the Korean Existing Chemical Inventory (KECI)
- · Obligations for new, existing and Priority Existing Chemicals (PECs)
- · Considerations when preparing a compliance strategy
The webinar will benefit
- Companies that manufacture, import or supply chemicals to South Korea;
- Those responsible for environmental compliance in manufacturing businesses;
- Those dealing with customer enquiries relating to regulatory compliance.
