The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is EU’s newest effort to increase transparency across the supply chain. In March 2022, the EU released a proposal for the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation which serves as the basis for future legislation that will require manufacturers to create and maintain DPPs for all their products. The DPP will contain product information to support sustainable use, repair, and disposal of the product during its entire life cycle that will be available via a data carrier, e.g., a QR code. The DPPs will be first implemented in the battery, textiles, and construction products industries. Please attend this webinar to learn more about the development, requirements, and implementation of DPPs.
