The Hazardex & PPTex 2020 Conference and Exhibition will be held on February 26 and 27 at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, Yorkshire.
The main focus of all Hazardex events is hazardous area operations and process safety, as well as the rapidly expanding area of personal protection technologies in hazardous environments (PPTex), and the 2020 event in Harrogate has a full conference programme on these and related topic areas with an eminent roll call of presenters from industry, regulatory and company backgrounds.
NEPIC, the prominent north-east England chemical sector membership association, and the Chemical Industry Journal are the latest official Partner Organisations for the event.
Our other Partner Organisations, many of whom will be presenting at the conference, are the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), Chemical Industry Association (CIA), Chemical Business Association (CBA), CompEx, IChemE Safety Centre, IECEx, Institute of Measurement & Control (InstMC) and UK Petroleum Industry Association (UKPIA).
Other than the main conference, the free-to-attend exhibition has leading hazardous area sector companies displaying their products and services to the assembled professional audience.
As in previous years, the event will include workshops, free seminar content, a networking dinner and awards ceremony, all aiming to strengthen and expand the community that looks to the Hazardex website and journal for industry intelligence and information.
The 2020 event will again provide exceptional opportunities for networking, with attendees from government agencies, regulators, certification bodies and training providers, consultants and product manufacturers meeting up with senior engineers and safety managers from the high hazard and process industry operators to share their experiences.
The informal Awards evening includes a drinks reception and Gala Dinner at the end of the first day, designed to recognise excellence in the hazardous area and process safety sector and voting will be opened shortly.
