Our 10th September breakfast event was supported by The Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) and featured 3 key speakers.

Manufacturing Supervisor, Mark Sutherberry, gave an overview on the range of support available from the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) using real life case studies, and introducing the ‘GROW’ Offshore Wind Programme. This provides access to up to £500,000 of funding to help supply the growing offshore wind market.

Chris Franks from Mann-Tek explained why Mann-Tek AB of Sweden are the World’s leading producers of Dry Disconnect and Safety Breakaway couplings. They manufacture in a wide range of special materials to suit almost any chemical transferred by sea, road or rail today. The couplings they make are made to the highest possible standard and are recognised around the globe as ‘best in class’.
